Frequently Asked Questions

for Etsy Customers

Where is my download link?

Download links are sent automatically by the Etsy system one the payment has been processed.
Unfortunately Etsy do not allow sellers to send or resend email download links manually.
If you haven't received your email after a few hours, make sure you have checked all your inbox folders and your spam or junk folders.

If the email link hasn't arrived, or isn't working correctly you can log into the account you used to purchase the artwork and view your purchases page here: www.etsy.com/your/purchases and click the "Download Files" button for this order.
If your payment is still processing, the Download Files button will be gray.

Please note that you can't download a digital purchase through the Etsy app at this time. To download a digital file, please sign in to Etsy on your mobile browser or a computer.

What do I do with the .zip file I have downloaded?

Most of our listings are delivered as downloadable zip files.
A zip file is like a digital folder that contains multiple images or documents. To access the images inside you just need to open it!
PC / Windows
To open a zip file on a Windows PC:
  • Open File Explorer and find the zip file.
  • To unzip the entire folder, right-click to select "Extract All", and then follow the instructions.
  • Mac
To open a zip file on a Mac:
  • Open Finder and locate the zip file.
  • Double click on the file.
  • The zip file will automatically be decompressed by Archive Utility into the same folder as the original zip file.
  • Android Phone or Tablet
Your Android device may open zip files with just a tap.
If your device won't open zip files you can open them using Files By Google:
  • On your Android device, download the Files by Google app in the Play Store.
  • Open Files by Google and tap "Browse" at the bottom.
  • Navigate to the zip file and select it.
  • Tap "Extract" then tap "Done".
  • The extracted files will be saved in the same folder as the original zip file.
  • Apple IPhone or iPad

Open the Files app, find the ZIP file you want to open and tap.

What do I do with the .rtf file I have downloaded?

The Etsy system limits the amount that sellers can upload to their system. This means that we have to host our larger packages and bundles on Dropbox.

When you buy one of or larger bundles you will receive a downloadable .rtf text file. This text file contains a link to a Dropbox folder where the files are hosted. You do not need to have a Dropbox account, you can just download using the link in the text file:

  • Open the .rtf file and click the blue link.
  • This will open the Dropbox folder in your web browser.
  • Click "Download" in the top left.
  • If you are using a mobile device tap the 3 dots in the top left then "Direct Download"

  • Once your zip file has downloaded (this may take some time!) you can open it using the methods above.

What fonts do you use in your listing images?

It's a secret! We spend many hours poring over many sites looking for just the right font for our projects. However, we do sometimes make an exception and share our font information with our customers, but only after purchase :)

Do you take on custom Etsy comissions?

No, unfortunately we don't accept custom commissions through Etsy.

If you wish to commission custom artwork or wedding stationery please enquire through our website.

    How do I add text

Our Etsy products are just images, not editable templates so you will need to use software or an app to add text and create your designs.

You can use whatever software you prefer but if you're not super confident with graphic software or don't know where to start we usually recommend a free online design tool.

If you google "free online design tool" a few will come up but our favourite is canva.com as the online tools are easy to use and the Canva team are super helpful if you get stuck. They have good help pages too and plenty of typefaces and free text layouts to play with, or you can do your own thing!

Go to www.canva.com, select "Sign Up" from the top right menu and sign up for a free account.
When prompted to sign up for a paid account just tap "Maybe Later" in the top right.
